Abstract
[Description] Patient Engagement (PE) is a strategy to apply patients' capacity to stay connected and carry out the impactful health responsible Role. PE drives patients first to obtain information about the risks and diseases actively; second, take informed interaction and control; third, to influence personal and population health outcomes. In this presentation, we review healthcare industry players' perspectives on Patient Engagement. The presentation includes a multi-actor leadership model that is advisable to policymakers and organizations who are developing PE as a strategic imperative.
