Abstract
The traditional method of patients receiving healthcare has always been through face-to-face interactions. However, with the demands of current ways of living and access to electronic communications, many patients are beginning to seek alternative means in which to see their healthcare providers. Seventy percent of internet users have looked on the internet for health information1. Many times, a person will not only access the internet on their home computer, but by using their mobile phone as well. It stands to reason people would also visit their provider in a similar way, by utilizing their phones for more than calling their healthcare provider.
