Teacher educators worldwide attempt to expose their students to professional cross-cultural experiences in order to nurture the future teachers' awareness of and sensitivity toward international issues and diversity. During the past five spring semesters, a cohort of American elementary education major students and students at a Hungarian university maintained a semesterlong E-mail discussion about issues related to culture, language, and diversity.
