Abstract
With a strong and enthusiastic membership of almost 1,000 professionals and students, one of FACEI's major goals has been to offer effective assistance for teachers and students in their everyday work and toward their participation in the annual international conference. Lacie Brock, former student at Florida Gulf Coast University, who was awarded the Presidents' Council Award at the 2008 Annual Conference, says, "I plan to stay an active member of ACEI as I enter my first year teaching by inspiring other education majors to join the remarkable Association for Childhood Education International."
