Abstract
Excerpt: The articles in this issue of Resource Sharing and Information Networks fall into one of two different themes: Interlibrary Loan or Collaboration. It's an arbitrary distinction; interlibrary loan is, of course, a just a type of collaboration, and the digital and scholarly communication projects described in this issue might not have come into being without the cooperation established among libraries decades ago through interlibrary loan initiatives.
