Abstract
This Lively Discussion brought together librarians from Florida Gulf Coast University in Ft. Myers, Florida and the
University of North Alabama in Florence, Alabama. Both libraries were eager to share their experiences with others
who have or are considering establishing a textbook afordability project or use open educatonal resources (OER)
to help students succeed despite the high cost of textbooks.
