Abstract
The Olentangy River Wetland Research Park provides a site for long-term, large-scale research on the creation and restoration of wetlands, operated under the auspices of the Ohio State University. Development plans for the site include the construction of two wetlands, the construction of educational and support facilities, and the construction of an educational and research building. The students have been integral in developing the plans for the site, building models, and in monitoring the hydrology, water quality, and wildlife of the site. Proposed projects include wetland volunteering, an Internet page, wetland tours, a bike path, visitor's pavilion, a zoo, flood control reservoir, and the water treatment plant.
