Wilder, Jackson, and Smith describe the impact of culture and cultural differences on school and work, as well as the importance of enhancing multicultural awareness and identify common obstacles to minority students in postsecondary transitions. They also present a recent study that focuses on the experience of Navajo Native Americans in transition.
