Abstract
Excerpt: Since children understand time based on sequential events before they understand time based on intervals (e.g., length of time or how long one minute is), these words will enhance children's time sense. A teacher frequently tells time in class without showing clocks (e.g., "We will go to the library at ten o'clock"). Since time involves nonconventional counting (one minute equals 60 seconds, one hour equals to 60 minutes, etc.), understanding time is one of the most challenging tasks for young children.
