Abstract
This study examines the influence of communication and information quality on organizational trust in the small business supply chain. It was hypothesized that these two information exchanging variables would have a positive relationship with trust in the relationship between both the vendor and the primary organization. The results support these hypotheses indicating that indeed more communication between these organizations and higher levels of the quality of information received does result in a higher level of trust between these organizations in their working relationships. These results are important for both continued research into small business as well as for practitioners. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
