Abstract
This article considers the level of professional ethics (relative to personal ethics) exhibited by selected samples of insuranc agents in one state and insurance students at two universities offering major programs in risk and insurance. The research allows for analysis of two major questions:
1. Is the level of personal ethics for the agents (or students) significantly freate than the level of professional ethics for the agents (or Students)?
2. Is the level of ethics (both personal and professional) significantly greater for the agents than for the students?
