Abstract
Excerpt: One of the contributions of the work in complexity theory is its demonstration that traditional science has not done an adequate job of establishing effective processes for observation, inquiry, and measurement. The domain of interesting organizational phenomena that can be adequately addressed by arms-length, objective measurement has been relatively exhausted. An exploration of most topics of appeal, such as strategy, innovation, leadership, communication, and so forth has been stunted by an inadequate depiction of how they operate.
