Abstract
For the sake of professional consistency in quality and student learning outcomes, there is an evident need to present “capstone” course(s) in a more uniform manner among veteran and junior faculty. With the integration of the anthropology and sociology programs into the Department of Justice Studies, the core “capstone,” “senior seminar” course requires review and revision to better meet multidisciplinary requirements and expectations/expectations as well as contemporary standards.
The evaluation entails a review of all syllabi course descriptions, learning objectives, content, organization, assignments, grade scales, writing style and format, and comparative Florida public universities information.
