Laci Mattison is a Series Editor for Understanding Philosophy, Understanding Modernism (Bloomsbury Academic Press), co-editor of volumes on Bergson and Deleuze for that series, and co-editor of the special issue on Woolf and modernism for Deleuze Studies. She organized the 32nd Annual International Conference on Virginia Woolf, “Virginia Woolf & Ecologies,” which was hosted by FGCU in June 2023, and is co-organizer for the International Virginia Woolf Society’s Fall 2023 Symposium, “Virginia Woolf & Ecologies II.” She is editor of Virginia Woolf – Objects, Things, Matter, forthcoming with Edinburgh University Press, and co-editor of the forthcoming Routledge Companion to Virginia Woolf.
Dr. Laci is on research leave for the 2023–2024 academic year.
Laci Mattison regularly presents new work at the Annual International Conferences on Virginia Woolf and enjoys mentoring students through the process of submitting and presenting their work for this conference. Seven of her former MA students have presented at the past four Woolf conferences, and some have presented multiple years.
