Tara M McKenna

Ms. McKenna is conducting collaborative research with Golf Management and Occupational Therapy students using the PGM swing lab technology to measure performance related issues and movement limitations with different golfing populations. She was the recipient of the 2015 SFPGA Section Horton Smith Award for excellence in Association education.

Prior to her academic career, she served as Head Professional of a private club in New England and Teaching Professional in South Florida. She has served on the National PGA Committee for Diversity & Inclusion and served as chairperson for a similar committee in the South Florida PGA Section. Tara is one of 200 women who hold dual certifications in both the PGA and LPGA Club Professional divisions. She enjoys traveling focusing on golf and regional wine exploration.
