Dr. Jones conducts research in the areas of investments, derivative securities, real estate, and finance pedagogy. He has published in Financial Services Review, Journal of Financial Education, Journal of Investments, Journal of Trading, and Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, among other finance-related journals.

Dr. Jones is a member of the Academy of Financial Services, Financial Education Association, American Real Estate Society, CFA Institute, and serves on the board of directors of CFA Society Naples. Prior to his academic career, he worked as a futures and options broker and a swim coach. He enjoys running, swimming, and spending time with his family.
