Abstract
Undergraduate students often use websites to find sources for their papers, despite the assignment criteria that may require high quality research studies. In this discussion session, a professor and librarian will begin the discussion by describing how they redesigned a music therapy research assignment and the library research session led by the librarian. Students worked in Zoom breakout rooms to discover and share citations on a Google Doc which resulted in 100% participation and the discovery of high-quality research studies. Attendees will be invited to discuss how they have used cooperative learning in the classroom as well. Ideas will be gathered by the discussion leaders and e-mailed to the attendees afterward.
