Rosanna T Mitchell

After earning her M.S. in Biology from the University of Central Florida in 2010, she dedicated the following seven years acquiring research experience working at the Hussman Institute for Human Genomics and later at Algenol Biotech. In 2019, she began teaching introductory Microbiology and Biology courses at Independence University, a non-profit online university and in 2021, she joined FGCU as an Adjunct Instructor teaching General Biology I. She is now a full-time Instructor I as of August 2023, with the primary responsibility of teaching introductory biology courses.
