Expertise

Dr. Sinclair engages in research on a variety of psychological and motivational topics including metacognition, student success, imposterism, and mental health experiences and stigma. The underlying thread that connects all of these research endeavors is involvement of undergraduate students as knowledge producers. As such, research training is held as a high impact teaching practice and much of Dr. Sinclair's work is informed by student interests in courses such as Research methods in Psychology, Senior Seminar, and Directed Study.
